Weymouth Falls Community Mapping Session

On Saturday, August 17th 2024 we held a community engagement session to finalize the Weymouth Falls Community Map in partnership with the Clean Foundation. In the afternoon, we were joined by members of the Hogan’s Alley Society in Vancouver, the Little Jamaica Community Land Trust in Toronto, and the national Canadian Network of Community Land Trusts who support a ‘Community Land Trusts 101’ education session. The final map will be available in fall of 2024.
Please note that this session is only open to African Nova Scotian residents and descendants of Weymouth Falls.
