Centering Community: Mental Health Supports in Weymouth

Building on a community member’s passion and leadership to create opportunities for their community to connect with the mental health and addictions system, the Weymouth Falls, Southville, Danvers, and Hassetts Parent Support Group has partnered with Nova Scotia Health staff to engage Black and African Nova Scotians in meaningful dialogue and relationship-building. This engagement will focus on conversations about flourishing, mental health,well-being, and strengthening mutually beneficial relationships between community members and local mental health and addictions programs and service providers, including Nova Scotia Health.

When: Saturday – August 22 , 2026
Where: Weymouth Legion – 24 Back St,Weymouth, NS B0W3T0
Time: 10.30 a.m – 3.00 p.m

A small honorarium for participation will be provided.
